Lynn Cratt began Lynn F. Cratt Ltd. in 1965. He began with 1 truck and driver. He provided service to St. Catharines, Jordan and Niagara on the Lake, delivering Gas, Diesel (clear and dyed) and Furnace Oil.

Over the years the company grew and the territory expanded as smaller agencies in Niagara Falls and Welland closed and Lynn F. Cratt Ltd. acquired their territories.  Lynn also started selling and delivering lubricants, and operating a cardlock.

When Lynn retired in 1991 he had expanded the business to 3 trucks and drivers, and lube delivery truck that covered the St. Catharines, Jordan, Vineland, Niagara Falls, Fort Erie, Welland & Niagara on the Lake.  Upon his retirement his son Brian took over the job of running the company.  Brian ran the company until his death in 2001. At this time Imperial Oil bought out Lynn F. Cratt Ltd.  Imperial then amalgamated Lynn F. Cratt Ltd., Knox Bros (Smithville) and McIntyre Fuels (Simcoe) into one agency. The result of this amalgamation is today’s service area.
 
Imperial choose William (Bill) Baker as the new agent.  Bill changed the name to Tomlynn Fuels Inc.  Bill since acquiring the business has made changes to the fleet. The last was to upgrade the 4 trucks to new 2007 Peterbilt trucks fitted with a tank from Robica Forman Tank Ltd. Our drivers deliver fuel to farm and commercial accounts as well as home heating customers.

We continue to provide service to the area that covers from West Stoney Creek along the lake to Niagara on the Lake, then south along the Niagara River to Fort Erie, then west across Lake Erie to Vittoria, then north to Scotland and finally east along the Grand River over to Caledonia.
